FMI TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION, RANCHI, INDIA

“A teacher's purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop students who can create their own image.”

On 5th September, we gratefully remember the great educationist Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose dream was that "Teachers should be the best minds in the country". Hence, Teachers' Day is very important for all of us, as the teachers lay the foundation for creating enlightened our mind. On this special occasion the Marianist community in India Celebrated the Teachers Day. On this special day they would like to recall the teachers who helped them in shaping their lives.

The Holy Eucharist started with the Short introduction given by the postulant. They underline the importance of this Day. After the Eucharist there were special programs for the teachers prepared by Marianist candidates and postulants. The program ends with the tribal dace and followed by the Lunch. The teachers, as well as, the students had a memorable day of celebration.
